assignments for 2/10/09

Hello Families,

I have a cold and have completely lost my voice so I will keep this short. To have been as exhausted as we all were from the ball, it was a good day.

Work hard on your studies and I will see you Tuesday!

love,
Mrs. Tkach

ASSIGNMENTS:
Grammar: 3rd: review lesson 71 on page 177

History:
--mapwork for ch. 24

--read first half of ch. 25
--produce a narration on this section
NOTE: We produced narrations for ch. 24 in class after discussing the chapter. A copy is in your student's homework folder

Science:
--review Moon Lab #1 with your parents
NOTE: I have sent home a direction sheet from my teacher's manual concerning following the phases of the moon for a month. I explained that this is completely optional and up to the home teacher. There was a lot of interest in class so I encourage you to at least discuss the phases of the moon with your child and perhaps try to see the different phases over the next month.
--review the next lab we did concerning the solar system with your parents

Latin:
--complete page 75 (and 76 if you have time--we'll finish it in class if it is too much written work)
--make flash cards from page 74 ( no derivatives )
--bring flash cards to class

Bible:
--read ch. 28 (Ask your child why Peter began to sink in ch. 27 and how we can apply this lesson to our own lives.)
